I read a lot of reviews about it squirting out and making a mess. Upon opening for the first time there is a rubber piece in the cap which when you squeeze it makes the sauce squirt out fast! I found if you have the top cover open you can pull it off the piece that screws onto the bottle and the rubber piece inside just falls out. Don’t worry the smaller cap piece snaps right back onto the piece that screws onto the bottle. Made the sauce way easier to come out and no mess. As for taste I relate it to the hersheys syrup you’d pour into milk to make chocolate milk. That’s what it reminded me of. Shockingly good for behind a healthier option.
